I try to make the throw go a bit higher than the table wall height, bounce on the table and then hit the wall. No one has ever complained about this, as long as I hit the wall each time. I also use the Calculated Craps method to bet, it seems to work for me. Other peoples chips on the opposite end of the table don’t always come into play. Dice don’t have to hit the back wall in order for a payout to occur in craps. Dice can be thrown in the casino and they can stop exactly where they land on a craps table with forward momentum/velocity. Craps can be beaten. Granite is also great for rolling out large batches of cookie dough or for kneading bread dough. A wood dining table won't do that.
